Team USA booked their ticket for the semifinals of men's basketball tournament in Tokyo Olympics. The Americans shrugged off a rusty start after being trailed most of the 1st half.

After a tied first half, Team USA outscored Spain in the second half, 52-38 to win the game, 95-81. Kevin Durant led the Americans in scoring with 29 points. Four other players for Team USA scored in double figures.

Ricky Rubio scored a career-high 38 points in a losing effort. He shot 13/20 from the field and 4/7 from behind the arc. Sergio Rodriguez had 16 points on 6/10 shooting for his team.

Brothers Pau Gasol and Marc Gasol announced after that it's their last game for Spain.
